Galdos Stouff was a Jedi Padawan who lived during the final years of the Galactic Republic. In 22 BBY, Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems after he tracked a bounty hunter to the planet Geonosis. Stouff and the Padawan's Master, the Weequay swordmaster Sora Bulq, were part of a strike team assembled by Jedi High Council member Mace Windu to rescue Kenobi. Stouff, like many fellow Jedi, was killed in the ensuing battle.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Sora Bulq, Stouff's Master

A Jedi, Galdos Stouff was selected to be the Padawan of Weequay Jedi Master Sora Bulq, a gifted swordsman and fighting instructor.[2] In 22 BBY,[1] separatist forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems captured Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi after he tracked the bounty hunter Jango Fett to the[4] Outer Rim planet Geonosis. Jedi High Council member Mace Windu assembled a strike team of 200 Jedi to rescue Kenobi from the Separatists. Stouff and Bulq were part of the team that infiltrated the Petranaki arena on Geonosis, where Kenobi was being held.[3]

The Jedi task force faced numerous Geonosian warriors and Confederate battle droids as the ensuing fight turned into a full-scale battle. Though Bulq and Stouff incapacitated a dozen guards on the arena's tribune,[3] the number of adversaries overwhelmed the Jedi, and many were killed, including Stouff. In the engagement's aftermath, Bulq was listed as a casualty of the battle, but he ultimately survived. The loss of Stouff and many other of his former students on Geonosis[2] eventually led Bulq to fall to the dark side of the Force, and he subsequently joined the Separatists.[5]

Personality and traits[edit | edit source]

Sensitive to the Force,[3] Stouff was chosen as a Padawan learner by the Jedi Master Sora Bulq.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Galdos Stouff was first mentioned in Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, a 2003 reference book written by Simon Beecroft and Curtis Saxton. Stouff was later mentioned in the StarWars.com Databank entry for Sora Bulq, which revealed the character's death on Geonosis. However, none of the sources specified Stouff's gender or species.
