"We have a hundred Jedi traveling the galaxy, and more ready to serve each year."
―Luke Skywalker addresses the gathered Jedi[src]

The Conclave on Yavin 4 was held in the Grand Audience Chamber on Yavin 4 in 25 ABY. It was called by Master Luke Skywalker to debate and decide on a unified approach to resisting the Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

Of all the Jedi, Kyp Durron was the last to arrive on the jungle moon, trying to signal that he wasn't merely doing the bidding of Skywalker. Durron spearheaded a faction favoring more aggressive action against the Yuuzhan Vong, and so came prepared to confront Skywalker. His side made up of around two-thirds of the adult Jedi, including about half of the non-Human Jedi.

Luke favored more defensive action against the Vong, but in a surprising move, did not confront Kyp immediately, rather inviting him to share his first-hand insights on the Vong gained while leading the Dozen-and-Two Avengers. While a unified policy was not fully decided on, a number of missions were allocated to small teams of Jedi.
