Evan-Ott was a male Jedi Padawan who was apprenticed to Master Sora Mobari. In 21 BBY, Evan-Ott tried to kill his master in an explosion, but died himself in the attempt. Mobari ultimately succumbed to her wounds as well.
Biography[edit | edit source]
A Force-sensitive male,[2] Evan-Ott[3] was a Padawan in the Jedi Order and apprenticed to Master Sora Mobari during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] In 21 BBY,[1] Evan-Ott and his master were sent[2] to the planet Ithor[4] to lead an attack against Ithorian terrorists. However, Evan-Ott betrayed Mobari and tried to kill her[2] in an explosion.[4] While Mobari initially survived the blast, the Padawan was killed. Master Mobari later succumbed to her mortal injuries while at a Republic medcenter on the planet New Holstice.[2]

Evan-Ott was first mentioned, albeit unnamed, in the Republic 58: The Battle of Jabiim, Part 4 comic series, written by W. Haden Blackman and released on December 17, 2003 by Dark Horse Comics. In 2008, the character received a name in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. However, Evan-Ott's species was not revealed.
